Hello!
You seem to have stumbled upon a small blog with humble beginnings in which I chronicle my experiences of filming and shooting a short opening to a film. Bi-weekly I will post about my progress and update the universe about my process. Welcome and hold on tight because this is going to be a bumpy ride :)
First things first, I need to find my idea for the film. I honestly have absolutely no clue about where to begin. One of the hardest parts for me in terms of pinpointing an idea for a project is to search, interpret, and organize the crazy and intimidating thoughts in my mind. Where do I begin?
Finally, I grab hold of an idea that is plausible for a low-budget, amateur film opening. What if I executed a plotline like this: a dystopia where technology has created a world full of socially anxious people who are just a hair away from having Aspergers Syndrome (ASD). People no longer know how to speak to each other and communicate because they are accustomed to staring at a tiny screen everyday. The technology has impacted people to such an extent that their brain has digressed and face-to-face human interaction has become virtually nonexistent. I am not sure if I want to follow through with this idea, but I promised the world I would update them every step of the way and I follow through with my promises ;)
I am working through ideas right now and unsure where to find inspiration. I need all the help I can get. Keep me in your thoughts!!!
Love always,
Hannah
