With my low budget film (as in no budget), how will I light my scenes?

Welp, I did some research and found that the brief time before sunset is known as the golden hour, and the time after sunset is called the blue hour. Both times of day are ideal when shooting a film because the sun isn't too far out as to overpower the characters.

Also, depending on what kind of mood I am trying to portray, I can use different methods of low key and high key lighting.
