Film Conventions... What Are Those?!?!?

The long awaited discussion about film conventions.

What even are those?

Well, the dictionary definition for convention is, "a way in which something is usually done, especially within a particular area or activity."

So basically, film conventions are the do's and do not's for movies and what may be considered appropriate or weird. Film conventions are like soical norms in society, except for movies.
